Untitled 2 My alarm clock blinks green,
And the music fades, soft in the background.
Those flashing numbers remind me of why I'm lying in bed.
To sleep. Normal people do that. They sleep.
But I am different?

My mind is like one of those really big aquariums.
With billions of different fish floating in and out of the main display,
And it's detrimental to my health. Because now, I can't sleep.
Tossing and turning are completely pointless; these stupid thoughts,
Well, they have put me beyond hope.

What's worse is the feeling of never coming to face any of those issues.
Maybe that's the main reason I'm awake still.

Well I just hope it doesn't have to rhyme.

A page that comes out of me, well that's a lot harder
than it sounds. A mixed up human being; that's what I am.
I have a past and a present and people tell me I have a
future ahead of me. But write about any of those, and I'll just sound
Boring. Write a deep, introspective, thought-provoking piece and I
sound conceited. So I'll leave this poem to deal with what makes me
Me.

A Beating Heart The wind whips my hair,
And my skirts blow around me
My headphones are clamped tight on my ears
Filling my head with sweet, oh so sweet music.

The heartbeat of the song
Travels to my core, I feel it inside me.
Moving me, bending my thoughts, tantalizing,
Rich and full, it envelops me, fills me.

I don't know how I'd live without it.
It's my life source, my constant companion.
It's there for me when I sleep, when I wake up,
When I celebrate, when I mourn.

My album's over, silence fills the air,
I pick out a new one, pop it in and settle down.
My mind runs away, time is of no matter.

New York, London, France When you both stir, she smiles, the sweetest smile you've ever seen.
You gently kiss her, then prepare tea for the both of you. Surely,
This is love.

One a cold October day, you walk the streets of London, your mind
Wandering back to that day you so wished would last forever. You take a wrong turn,
And bump into a woman. She keeps her eyes down and offers you her service,
The pleading tone of need, not want, in her voice. You raise her chin to apologize.
Your breath catches, her face pales even more than usual. The wind picks up,
Blowing her hair into her face, covering her dark, bloodshot eyes. You stare a moment

I haven't written anything that's not a piece of shit in about 3 months. God dammit, I feel like such a lazy ass.

But I guess that'll change when I have an english class. Alas. I will still try to get something up here soon, as I'm like the most inactive member.
